Sufficient to say, the person is a craftsman who specializes in musical making instruments, admires my marine paintings so we are helping each other with a project.

Exploring Théhillac (56130).

A photographic essay to share with you.
Yesterday evening I had the privilege of being show parts of the commune of Théhillac (pronounced Tay’ack) and adjacent communes, by the deputy mayor Gilbert Duval, a man with a passion for and extensive knowledge of this district.
We completed our evening together at his home, with a bottle of good white wine from the Loire valley where I discovered, before he retired, Gilbert had a been master craftsman with bronze.
WE share a passion for food, wines, craftsmanship and artwork. Gilbert taught me much about many things including the abundant wild mushrooms of Brittany …
We plan soon, to visit other parts of this watery commune together, Gilbert hopes I will make some paintings of this very Southern Brittany Théhillac commune.
I hope I will make it so.
Would you like to join us?
