I’m safely home at Thehillac, exhausted, hungry.

By the way, I’ve painted in rain on several occasions; always the result surprised.
Chateau de Saurs is beginning to come alive, to sing to me.
The painting is past the hardest part where it could be difficult to see the potential, this new painting in oils of Chateau de Saurs, Gaillac region of SW France is on a canvas measuring 76 x 121 cms (30″ x 48″), available ~ however a first refusal has been requested.

Vera, artist, painter, musician and poet, and I have been friends a very long time. It was Vera who introduced me to the delights of Plymouth Jive Club where new window opened for me on dance. Back in 2003, as I slowly began to emerge from the darkest period of my life Vera was one of the first to see my 2003 French ‘plien aire’ paintings, the results from 5 weeks around Bordeaux and Castelnau de Montmiral.
