A probable painting resultant from one of the liveliest impromptu afternoons I’ve ever had… at Sauveterre-de-Guyenne fete du vins in the Gironde department (Aquitaine region) of France.

“No way color blind” was a comment via Facebook by, a reaction from my friend Sherrie Raz, not something I’d lightly ignore.
In its way it’s a very well timed remark, Sherrie’s formidable intuition at work I guess.

Sherrie Raz is a fellow artist and significantly in my view has become the best Clinical Psychologist and a Registered Traumatologist in the USA; and I write that with good supporting reasons.
I’m honoured by her friendship.
She was commenting on my colour vision.

Much later than planned, at last away from Thehillac. To much to do before I upped anchor…

I love living at Thehillac however I’m looking forward to seeing friends, the awesome scenery and painting in the glorious Tarn region of SW France.
I knew I was almost ‘home’ when the roads became seriously wiggly, I found myself thinking “wow what beautiful countryside”, then I saw Puycelci. ‘

To Gaillac, Castelnau de Montmiral and Albi. Later I’ll visit Toulouse too, next week I intend to drive south to the seductive Tarn province.
I’ll be there about a month mostly to paint and meet people.

La semaine prochaine, je compte diriger vers le sud de la province Tarn séduisante.
Je serai là environ un mois la plupart du temps à peindre et de rencontrer des gens.
