Of Rye & Bexhill, East Sussex, I lived in Rye.
I miss Rye, and am more than a bit sad that I left.
I ran a boat building business at Rye. I was asked by the council to stay, even offered a free workshop on the quay, provided I kept the doors open when working to the tourists could watch.
I used to sail out of Rye Harbour.
Also and mostly with the wonderful people of Bexhill Sailing Club.
