The most picturesque way to arrive at Gaillac, the beginning a new painting based on a ‘plien aire’ study.
It’s a struggle but it’s coming…
With this painting made on and after exploring the lacation, I have two quite different ideas in mind, first the basic composition must be solidified.
If that works I’ll use similar ideas for Castillion la Bataille.

L’étude initiale mesure 40 x 50 cm (16 “x 20”) et finira par être exposé à Gaillac et proposé à la vente, si quelqu’un ne l’aime assez pour ‘saisir’, il est rapide.
