I have arrived at Oreston, Plymouth and am with my good friends Michael and Linda Baker.
Our weather here more like early September than the first of November complete with a glorious sunset.
Plymouth has an historic connection with the Bordeaux region, the port used to send 600 ships each autumn to Bordeaux for wine.
The streets of St Emilion were until very recently cobbled with pink granite stones, ballast from the medieval ships of Plymouth.
While Plymouth remains my main base, maison principlae, I have moved a studio to Thehillac in Brittany.
I will resume work on my two wine projects, “Picturesque Wine Villages of Bordeaux” and “Gaillac and its wines” upon my return; soon.
