Pomerol
Painting “plein aire”, a small village .Pommerol is a village huge reputation, some say they prefer the wines of Pomerol to those of Saint Emilion.
Wines of Pomerol particularly the red wines, as among the best in the world and included in the top 9 of the Imperial Classification 1855 of French wines, by order of Napoléon III.
Nevertheless if you explore the Pommerol commune there are bargains to be found and much charming scenery.
